There is a huge difference between a finisher and a shooter on a soccer field.

A shooter is someone who just drills the ball, much like taking a “Shotgun” approach. They will focus on using a lot of power, but lack of accuracy and precision. Most of their shots would have a lot of power, but who knows where there are going?

A finisher on the other hand, is like a sniper using a fine-tone rifle with a super scope. It is powerful with deadly accuracy. A true finisher is someone who can shoot the ball with power and finish with deadly accuracy.

Secrets to soccer and learn how to become a finisher, you will need to spent many hours practicing and fine tuning your shooting skills and techniques. You will also need to change your mental attitude through scoring goals.

You should spend hours developing your shooting techniques by shooting at a empty goal. Then spend more hours shooting smaller targets inside the goal and even more hours shooting at small cones within the goal.

You will need to do this until you could do it under pressure. Then later on you could add a goalkeeper. Once you learn how to beat a goalkeeper often enough, you can add a defender or two to help you improve your skills and maximum the pressure and intensity within your practices.

Beside the daily practices, you should learn how to take shot from different angles within 30-35 yards of the goal.

You will also need to develop the mentality as a true finisher. You can do this by forcing yourself to take on other players. You will need to believe in your soccer skills and abilities through many hours of practicing. You can also build your confidence as a true goal scorer by learning not to afraid of anyone. These are just some of the secrets to soccer training and how to become a better finisher on the field.
